I love reading these posts so I've decided to do a little series myself. As a blogger and a lover of beauty I find myself constantly changing up my make up routine. This month especially I've been loving a real easy slap dash sort of make up. As most of my readers will know I'm pretty low maintenance when it comes to make up. I love natural bases and usually wear a tinted moisturiser so when I tested the YSL foundation I sort of fell in love... immediately. My only issue is the shade I bought might not work for me when I'm not as tanned. Brilliant excuse to buy another bottle?! I think so.
In keeping with the slap dash theme I've been loving applying the Collection Eyeshadow Pencil all over my lid and blending it out with my finger, then to finish off I just add lashings of the Benefit They're Real Mascara. Eyes done, I move onto my cheeks. The Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blush was definitely a blogger enabled purchase. This stuff is literally like watercolour paint - no freakin' duh right - but for some reason I just expected it to be slightly thicker. It's super pigmented but can be applied so sheerly with fingers (or a brush!) that it genuinely looks like your own blushing colour. The shade I have is Cherub.
My go to Bronzer is this one from NYC. I actually picked it up when Poundland of all places were stocking it for yep you guessed it £1! It's matte and quite olive toned so works perfectly when you want to make yourself look naturally sunkissed. I've heard that this is a great dupe for Benefit's Hoola! I managed to pick up the RiRi for MAC Cream Colour Base in Diamonds whilst at the airport and oh my god it's the most beautiful highlighter ever. I don't use this everyday as the YSL foundation is pretty dewy already so I use it on those days when I need a little pick me up. All I've wore on my lips lately is the Maybelline Baby Lips in Hydrate. It's a clear balm that pretty much does what it says on the tin. Oh but it does taste like lemonade. I hope you like this little series guys, what's your go to products lately?
