One of my favourite things to buy has to be skincare products. Whilst I love to save up and splurge on luxurious face masks and all singing all dancing face creams, I have to admit that the majority of my skincare routine is made up of high street brands. Here's five of my top picks - all from the high street and all under a tenner. Enjoy!
Superdrug Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser - £4.99 - This little gem is my everyday cleanser. I first picked it up around a year ago when I'd ran out of my usual Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish and I haven't looked back since. If you're a fan of hot cloth cleansers I urge you to give this a go. You also get a muslin cloth with every box so the price really is brilliant.
Superdrug Vitamin E SPF 15 Radiance Moisture Cream - £2.99 - I love to use this in the morning to really wake up my skin. I've seen this compared to MAC's Strobe Cream and having tried both myself I have to agree that the concepts are very similar. This one just happens to be a lot cheaper.
L'Oreal Skin Perfection Purifying Micellar Solution - £4.99 - I think everyone in the beauty blogosphere has heard of this by now. An apparent dupe for the Bioderma Micellar Water and for a third of the price there's no wonder this flew off the shelves! I haven't actually tried the Bioderma version so I can't compare but I love to use this to remove the majority of my make up before I use my hot cloth cleanser.
Botanics Microdermabrasion Polish Radiant Youth - £7.99 - There's no hiding that I'm a super fan of the Botanics for Boots range. I think they are so on point with pricing and packaging and they seem to have a range to suit everybody's needs. I've done a full review on this here. Oh and there is usually some sort of buy one get the next half price dealio on so make sure you look out for that!
Botanics Ionic Clay Mask - £6.99 - I bought this on a bit of a whim a few weeks back when I was doing my usual stalking of Boots on my dinner break. I've been wanting to try the Origins Clear Improvement mask for a while but thought this would be a great alternative to try first. I'm really impressed so far - there hasn't been a dramatic change in my skin but I have noticed that my pores aren't as big and I haven't broke out after using it. I probably will pick up the Origins mask too but for now I'm really happy using this.
